Senior Frontend UX Engineer

This is a remote position.

We're looking for a Senior Frontend UX Engineer to join a platform team building and enhancing web applications that support large-scale digital and media operations. This is a hands-on role focused on delivering responsive, high-performance web interfaces using JavaScript, React, TypeScript, and AWS.

What You'll Do

Build, test, and optimize React-based frontends and component libraries
Develop responsive UIs using modular architecture and reusable components
Contribute to design and architecture discussions for new features and tools
Review code, mentor developers, and uphold frontend best practices
Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps to ensure smooth delivery cycles
Prototype new frontend technologies to boost performance and velocity

Requirements

5+ years of software engineering experience
2+ years developing React (or similar) applications with Node.js and TypeScript
Strong understanding of modern frontend principles (hooks, lifecycle, modularity)
Proficiency with Redux, REST APIs, Git, and npm
Experience deploying web applications to AWS or GCP
Proven ability to build scalable, performant, and responsive user interfaces
Excellent communication skills and experience in distributed teams

Nice to Have

Experience with micro-frontends, component design systems, or Lit HTML
Background with Go, VOD streaming, or CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, or cloud-based release processes
