As a Fiber Operations Support Representative, you will be on the front lines helping connect the Coast Electric members and others throughout South Mississippi to a reliable fiber internet and phone service.

What You'll Do:

• Be the first point of contact for subscribers – answer questions, troubleshoot, resolve issues with professionalism, and route complex cases to the right team
• Create, update, and close service orders
• Handle billing questions, payments, and account changes
• Explain plans, packages, promotions, and service options
• Document interactions and maintain accurate records
• Assist with CoastConnect's marketing promotions and support fiber service teams with reports and data entry
• Learn to use various operations software such as Meridian, Calix Service Management Connector, Report IQ, etc.
• Follow the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) guidelines and CoastConnect policies, including Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI)
• Support the fiber service team during billing/collection cycles

• A great communicator who can explain things clearly – both verbally and in writing
• Strong customer service skills
• Someone with solid computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Office, and willingness to learn specialized systems)
• Ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment while solving problems
• A team player who is ready to learn and grow

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis in Excel
• Willingness to learn new systems and procedures
• Ability to interpret basic charts, graphs, and data
