Marketing Intern

We're looking for a Marketing Intern to support our event marketing efforts this summer, with a primary focus on RAMPCon 2026, our flagship industry conference. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves bringing order to moving pieces, and wants hands-on experience executing a high-impact event.

You won't just be observing—you'll be contributing directly to the planning, promotion, and execution of a marquee event.

Duration: May 4, 2026 - June 30, 2026

What You'll Do

Event Planning & Execution

  • Support end-to-end planning of RAMPCon, including timelines, logistics, and coordination across marketing, sales, and delivery teams
  • Assist with vendor coordination, registration management, and attendee communications
  • Help build and maintain run-of-show documents and internal trackers to keep everything on schedule

Website & Digital Experience

  • Update and manage RAMPCon website content (agenda, speakers, event details)
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with Coalfire brand standards
  • Partner with internal teams to implement updates quickly and efficiently

Social & Campaign Support

  • Draft and schedule social media content (primarily LinkedIn) to drive event awareness and engagement
  • Support email campaign execution, including copy edits and list coordination
  • Assist in tracking engagement and performance metrics

Marketing Operations & Reporting

  • Help manage registration data and campaign lists
  • Support reporting on event performance, including registrations and engagement
  • Jump in on additional marketing initiatives as needed—this is a team sport

What You'll Bring

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail—you don't let things slip through the cracks
  • Strong written communication skills with an interest in content and social media
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly
  • Proactive mindset—you're not afraid to ask questions or take initiative
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn and digital marketing basics

Bonus Points

  • Experience with tools like Cvent and Sprout Social

$15 - $25 an hour

The salary range listed is a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role based on national salary averages. The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, geographic location, training, licensure and certifications and other factors.
