Job Purpose

To drive and augment volumes and market share of above 47 hp tractor portfolio thru generation of qualified demand for New Holland's tractor portfolio in Gujarat by executing localized ATL and BTL campaigns that directly support sales conversion, dealer engagement, Product Segment promotion, and market expansion. This position will work closely with the regional sales teams and dealer network to ensure marketing efforts are well designed, planned, executed and translate into measurable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales-Aligned Demand Planning (high HP segment)

  • Collaborate with Gujarat's regional sales teams of all 4 clusters to drive demand and sales in high-potential districts (e.g., Sabarkanta, Junagadh, Banaskantha, Surendranagar, Surat, Rajkot).
  • Develop demand generation plans aligned with seasonal crop cycles (e.g., cotton, groundnut, wheat) and tractor usage patterns.
  • Support dealer network with hyper-local campaigns and lead generation tools.
  • Create and exploit potential of high HP Segment thru focus approach and achieve business growth.

2. ATL Activities (Above-the-Line)

  • Prepare annual calendar for digital and non digital campaign plan, Collaborate with Central marketing team for Execution of mass media campaigns tailored for Gujarat's rural audience:
    • Gujarati-language TV and radio ads during peak agri seasons
    • Print ads in local agri publications and newspapers (e.g., Sandesh, Gujarat Samachar)
    • Outdoor branding in mandi areas, village centers, and highways
  • Coordinate with media agencies for regional media buying and performance tracking.

3. BTL Activities (Below-the-Line)

  • Drive grassroots activations across Gujarat's farming communities:
    • Tractor demo drives and field trials in taluka-level clusters
    • Farmer meets and agri expos in districts like Surendranagar, Bharuch, and Kheda
    • Mobile van campaigns with lead capture and product showcases
  • Equip dealers with Gujarati-language brochures, POS materials, and campaign kits.

4. Lead Generation & CRM Integration

  • Implement digital and offline lead capture strategies across all activations.
  • Ensure leads are routed to appropriate dealer teams with follow-up protocols.
  • Monitor lead-to-sale conversion and optimize campaigns based on regional insights.

5. Sales Enablement & Dealer Support

  • Provide marketing support for dealer-led promotions and seasonal offers.
  • Train dealer staff on campaign execution and lead handling.
  • Support new product launches with localized messaging and activation plans.

6. Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Key KPIs would be min 50% growth in above 47 hp segment YOY, aligned with Gujarat's sales targets (e.g., demo requests, dealer footfall, conversion rates).
  • Analyze campaign ROI and share insights with regional leadership.
  • Maintain dashboards for district-wise performance and campaign effectiveness.

Experience Required

10 - 17 years in demand generation/ Sales, Rural marketing, or agri sales support

Preferred Qualifications

MBA in Marketing / Btech (Agri/ Mechanical) /Agri Business / Rural Management
