We help the world run better. At SAP, we enable you to bring out your best. Our company culture is focused on collaboration and a shared passion to help the world run better. How? We focus every day on building the foundation for tomorrow and creating a workplace that embraces differences, values flexibility, and is aligned to our purpose-driven and future-focused work. We offer a highly collaborative, caring team environment with a strong focus on learning and development, recognition for your individual contributions, and a variety of benefit options for you to choose from.
Three of SAP's large customers have started their "RISE with SAP" transformations and tasked SAP with moving their businesses to the cloud. As part of this transformation, hundreds of productive landscapes will be moved to Azure and AWS. You will be part of a diverse, collaborative, cross-cultural, and high-performing team which is dedicated to driving the ECS private Cloud adoption of these three high-profile customers.
As a Strategic IT Business Services Consultant – CDM with C2C* focus (f/m/d) for these strategic RISE customers, you are closely collaborating as part of a Client Delivery Managers (CDM) team, and will be responsible for building a solid customer relationship and driving end-to-end customer engagement with a particular focus on commercial scope and financial planning.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Qualifications and Skills
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or Controlling.
Professional Experience: 5+ years of professional experience, ideally with some exposure to SAP Enterprise Cloud Services.
Collaboration & Teamwork: Ability to work closely with customers and within the customer delivery team.
Adaptability: Capacity to manage changes and drive planning for infrastructure changes internally and with customers.
Technical Skills
MS Excel: Very good skills with a focus on accuracy and detail.
SAP Tools: Familiarity with SAP Enterprise Cloud Services internal tooling such as DED, PQA, SPC, CLD is advantageous.
Commit-to-Consume Process: Experience with the C2C process is a plus.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; German language skills are a bonus.
Problem-Solving: Ability to understand and analyse processes, patterns, and connections to identify and resolve issues.
Remote Work: Ability to work effectively as a virtual member of a dynamic, dispersed team.
Client Relationships: Ability to establish and maintain solid working relationships with clients.
Given these responsibilities and qualifications, the role requires a blend of financial acumen, technical understanding, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a remote, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate would have a background that combines business, technology, and strong analytical skills.
Commit to consume (C2C) refers to commercial models which combine Fund and Overage. The customer commits to a fixed spent amount (Fund) for an agreed contract duration, but is free to flexibly use the included list of materials (e.g. which material, which quantity). If the committed Fund amount is fully consumed the customer can continue his usage without the need to close a new contract. They will however be charged extra for the overusage (overage fees).
