HubSpot Marketing Operations Specialist Or GTM Engineer
Clockwork Systems was founded by Stanford researchers and veteran systems engineers who share a vision for redefining the foundations of distributed computing. As AI workloads grow increasingly complex, traditional infrastructure struggles to meet the demands of performance, reliability, and precise coordination. Clockwork is pioneering a software-driven approach to AI networking, delivering deterministic time, ultra-low latency, and seamless scalability for modern distributed systems.
We are looking for a highly hands-on HubSpot Marketing Operations Specialist or GTM Engineer to own our HubSpot ecosystem end-to-end. This person will architect, configure, and scale our full marketing in HubSpot and ensure it works well with the sales stages already configured in Salesforce — from lifecycle stages, lead routing, scoring, segmentation, and ABM workflows to campaign execution, analytics, reports/dashboards and Salesforce integration.
This role also includes managing and optimizing the HubSpot ↔ Clay sync, ensuring ABM lists, intelligent enrichment signals, and automated campaign triggers flow seamlessly into HubSpot to power targeting, scoring, segmentation, and activation. If you have working knowledge of Clay, that is a bonus, otherwise we will accelerate your learning with paid coaching which is an added bonus as this is a highly prized skillset in the market.
If you're the type who can build systems from scratch, scale them for mature marketing programs, and enjoy being the "go-to expert" across the organization, this role is for you. We are a tech-forward company with a very flat org structure so this role is highly respected with regular coaching and readouts with executives who proactively support your learning and career acceleration.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain the full HubSpot lead lifecycle (MQL → SQL → Opportunity → Closed-Won).
- Configure multi-channel HubSpot campaigns: events, webinars, paid/organic ads, email nurture, social campaigns, and ABM sequences with Hubspot CRM and Content Hub.
- Build reports and dashboards that track full-funnel performance, campaign attribution, and revenue metrics.
- Create workflows, scoring models, segmentation logic, custom fields, and data-quality processes.
- Manage the HubSpot ↔ Salesforce sync: mappings, lifecycle logic, campaign influence, and data hygiene.
- Partner closely with marketing, sales to translate business requirements into system configuration
- Document systems, train users, and ensure operational excellence across marketing and sales motions.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of hands-on HubSpot power-user or admin experience — building and scaling systems (not just using them).
- Expertise in lead lifecycle configuration, scoring, workflow automation, and campaign setup.
- Strong experience building dashboards and reports for funnel metrics and campaign ROI.
- Good working knowledge of Salesforce CRM and HubSpot → Salesforce integrations, and how HubSpot and SFDC integrate for full funnel lifecycle and opportunity management. SFDC is already configured with a mature implementation but ensuring Hubspot and SFDC stay synchronized on data and field mappings will be important.
- Experience supporting ABM motions (We use Clay ABM lists that integrate with Hubspot).
- AI-forward experimentation mindset with a love of learning new ways of doing things
- Excellent communicator who can collaborate cross-functionally and act as the internal HubSpot SME.
Why Join Us?
- You'll own a mission-critical system powering the entire revenue engine.
- You'll get autonomy and influence — the ability to architect the system the right way from the start.
- You'll work closely with sales, marketing, and leadership in a highly collaborative, very flat org structure with direct exposure to seasoned executives and a high-growth environment where we are landing the world's top AI partners & customers
- Hybrid flexible culture — work onsite in Palo Alto 2+ days/week with a strong local team with strong coaching support.
Enjoy
- Challenging projects.
- A friendly and inclusive workplace culture.
- Competitive compensation.
- A great benefits package.
- Catered lunch.
