People Operations Specialist - Remote Eligible

Role Overview

The primary purpose of this role is to deliver consistent, high-quality People Operations support that enables the team to scale, standardize, and automate core processes. By driving execution with urgency and leveraging AI to reduce manual work, this role helps build a more efficient, data-driven, and scalable People function. It directly supports our strategic priority of creating seamless, tech-enabled employee experiences while fostering a "one team" culture rooted in collaboration, humility, and continuous learning.

A strong understanding of the end-to-end onboarding lifecycle and hands-on experience with Workday as an HRIS, and confident communication skills for leading global New Hire Orientation are recommended.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the accurate and timely execution of core People Operations tasks (onboarding, data updates, employee questions) with guidance as needed; maintain strong attention to detail to minimize errors.

• Own portions of the onboarding lifecycle and ensure smooth, consistent, and scalable new hire experiences.

• Lead and deliver global New Hire Orientation with confidence, clear communication, and a strong ability to engage diverse groups of new hires.

• Use Workday to process transactions, maintain data accuracy, and support employee lifecycle changes.

• Identify simple opportunities to improve processes or reduce manual work, and assist in implementing updates or small automations using AI or available tools.

• Contribute to creating or updating process documentation, templates, and knowledge articles to maintain clarity and consistency across the team.

• Operates with strong initiative by quickly learning new information, adapting to changing needs, and finding solutions as challenges arise.

• Meet established SLAs and response times for employee requests, showing reliability, proactive communication, and willingness to escalate when appropriate.

• Build strong cross-functional relationships and demonstrate a team-first mindset by being collaborative, accountable, and open to learning.
