Shredder Operations Technician

We Build with Passion- Clean Harbors Kimball, NE NEW Incineration unit is seeking a Shredder Operations Technician who performs hands on operations such as shredder, pallet jack, tank farm operations and offloading vehicle with forklift operations. New Wage $26.50 per hour DOE paid weekly, 4- 12 hour rotating (days/nights) shifts per week (6a-6p/ 6p-6a). Safety focused with a desire to advance in career.

Responsibilities

Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times Performs basic operations including, but not limited to, drum movement, drum opening, tank farm truck loading/unloading, operation of the shredder device, proper inventory warehousing. Operates a forklift when necessary, Responsible for performing and documenting daily safety check prior to operating. Completes and submits all associated paperwork as required for waste tracking movements,-Able to use scanning application for dumping and pumping. Ensures that work meets all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures Reviews all applicable SOP's and satisfactorily completes quizzes Ensures, understands and has ownership for area specific permit required compliance standards Meets or exceeds production goals Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent Forklift operation Ability to work in team environment DOT Training Proficiency in Windows based applications Climb on and off forklifts Ability to perform multiple tasks Lifting up to 50 lbs from the ground to your waste Climb up and down vertical ladders Capable of reaching out, over and down exerting a force 20/20 eyesight corrected or uncorrected - depth perception is critical 10 pushups, deep knee squats and sit-ups (to determine if fit) Good hand/eye coordination Mechanically inclined Valid Driver's License required Punctuality and attendance required Respirator fit test upon hire- clean shaven face required (mustache okay!) Background check, drug screen and physical- required Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
