The Home Building Group is actively searching for a Cad Tech Team member for our Marlette Homes / Clayton Hermiston building facility in Hermiston, OR. Cad Tech team members ensure that all homes meet sales orders, prints, specifications, and building codes, while ensuring a high quality standard in a timely manner.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Create prints using AutoCAD
- Create detailed architectural construction prints
- Communicate and collaborate with production team members regarding print related items
- Communicate and collaborate with sales regarding orders
- Participate in quarterly inventory (includes sat. Work)
Core Competencies and Job Requirements:
- One to three years of experience in AutoCAD
- Understanding of architectural design standards and familiarity with related codes
- Experience within MS Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication. Must be able to communicate effectively and constructively with all levels in the organization.

- Speed and accuracy in creating prints

- Ability to check over work to ensure accuracy and thoroughness of prints

Physical Demands:
- Frequently requires sitting, fine dexterity, and standing.
- Continuously requires ability to see, hear and speak.
- Sitting at a desk for extended periods of time including extended hours in front of a computer screen.
- Ability to walk on uneven surfaces, climb stairs, bend, stoop, reach overhead, work outside and in non-climate-controlled environment, and tolerate exposure to loud noises and machinery, dust and chemicals.

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift, 6:00a-2:30p
- Monday to Friday, some Saturdays
- Overtime occasionally
