The City of Virginia Beach Department of Human Services is seeking to hire an experienced Family Service Assistant (FSA). This candidate will provide administrative, clerical and direct service support to internal staff as well as children and families involved with Child Welfare. FSAs assist with scheduling and supervising of family time visitation, provide transportation to children and families, supervise children, conduct safety home visits, monthly visits and well-child visits, notetaking and Family Partnership scribe duties, provide notary services for families as well as other duties as needed to provide support to staff and the families served.
