The successful candidate will serve as an Assistant Business Services Associate reporting to the NYC 311 Customer Service Center. Responsibilities will include: assist in planning, coordination, and implementation of business management and services to support 24/7 operations and customer focused initiatives; utilize computer-based applications and technologies to support business needs across multiple contact center channels; use advanced functions of Microsoft Office Suite, business intelligence tools, and spreadsheet applications to prepare essential reports; assist in research and review of data to identify trends and support business strategies; assist in liaison functions with internal and external stakeholders; assist in preparation of time sensitive materials, documentation, business communications, and written correspondence; assist in maintenance of files and business records; assist in scheduling of meetings and conferences; assist with recruitment events, conducting interviews, and outreach support; assist in conducting presentations; and assist in coordination of special projects and programs; equitable service delivery and continuous improvement efforts. HOURS/SHIFT Day - Due to the necessary support duties of this position in a 24/7 operation, candidate may be required to work various shifts such as weekends and/or nights/evenings. Qualification Requirements 1. High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to duties described above; or 2. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" above.
