Job Summary
The Customer Service Representative-Aquatics provides customer service, direction, and information for community members using aquatics facilities and programming. Provides effective service, gives program information, supports administrative functions, and communicates aquatics policies.
Essential Functions
- Provides service, assistance, and response to telephone and walk-in inquiries from customers regarding aquatics programming or facility use. Directs customers to specific areas for information and assistance.
- Provides customer service and administrative support by issuing ID cards, directing customers, discussing aquatics programming, updating customer accounts, and answering customer questions and concerns; provides clerical work for new accounts, collects payments, and facilitates success of aquatics facilities.
- Updates customer accounts and records; ensures the accuracy of a customer accounts, program registrations, and updates accounts with correct information.
- Assists and provides information; assists with special events.
- Ensures safe food and beverage handling procedures
- Performs a wide range of clerical, administrative, and customer service tasks.
- Performs any and all other tasks as needed or assigned.
- Assists with daily maintenance and cleaning tasks

Knowledge and Skills
- Knowledge of Aquatics Facilities and general policies and procedures.
- Ability to determine customer concerns and service requests and provide direction.
- Ability to interpret and explain aquatics policies, rules, and procedures.
- Ability to interact tactfully with employees and the public.
- Ability to provide general administrative functions supporting the aquatics facilities and programs.
- Communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
- Establishing and maintaining effective professional relationships.

Licenses and Certifications
Food & Beverage-Texas Food Handlers Certificate required before working in concessions areas.
Working Conditions and Hazards
- The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- The employee is occasionally required to carry, lift or move items.
- Work performed outside with regards to environmental conditions
Salary Range
$19.83 - $20.94
