Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Transformation Project Manager to lead our organization's transition from a paper-based to a digital records-keeping system. This is a critical role that will directly impact our efficiency, security, and long-term sustainability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for modernizing business processes.

Essential Functions

  • Lead the digital transformation project from initial planning to final implementation, ensuring all project goals and deadlines are met.
  • Conduct a thorough analysis of our current paper-based systems and workflows to identify key challenges and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with department heads and key stakeholders to understand their specific needs and develop a comprehensive plan for digitizing their records.
  • Evaluate and recommend software and hardware solutions for digital records management, ensuring they meet our security, compliance, and scalability requirements.
  • Manage the vendor selection process, including creating RFPs, evaluating proposals, and negotiating contracts.
  • Develop and implement a change management strategy to ensure a smooth transition for all employees. This includes creating training materials, conducting workshops, and providing ongoing support.
  • Oversee the data migration process, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of all digitized records.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and report on key metrics to leadership.
  • Establish best practices for digital records management, including retention schedules, access controls, and security protocols.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Have a bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, library and information sciences, or a related field.

AND

Experience: Experience with records management systems and digital archiving technologies.

OR

Equivalency Notes: Have an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience with records management systems and digital archiving technologies.
  • Strong understanding of data security and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Background Check

Probation
