Business Support Administrator

We're looking for a Business Support Administrator to join our team. You'll play a hands-on role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of our business processes. You will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks, providing support to different departments of CEF. Alongside this you will be the first point of contact for any visitors, greeting them into our building in a friendly and pleasant manner.

What You'll Do:

  1. Greeting colleagues and visitors into our state-of-the-art building based in Meadowfield, Durham.
  2. Booking accommodation and travel for our internal colleagues - liaising with local hotels and our partnered travel agency.
  3. Use our bespoke system to raise purchase orders and process purchase invoices.
  4. Plan and coordinate meetings, both on and off site.
  5. Provide administration support for senior management.
  6. Support onboarding of new team members

What You'll Bring:

  • Must haves:
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Nice to haves:
  • Experience working in a busy office environment.
  • Purchase order experience.
  • Flexibility with start/finish time on occasion.
  • Experience supporting global or hybrid teams.

Location

  • You will be based out of our IT and Marketing Office (Janet Nash House) in Meadowfield Industrial Estate.
