This role reports to the Global Head of Lending (Loan) Services Production Support.
The ideal candidate will possess deep LoanIQ product expertise, strong understanding of end‑to‑end lending workflows, and the ability to partner closely with Operations, Technology, and Vendor teams to ensure accurate, stable, and compliant platform performance.
The Apps Support Group Manager is accountable for the management of complex, critical, and large‑scale functional areas. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of how multiple lending and technology disciplines interact to achieve business objectives. The senior manager applies deep functional knowledge of LoanIQ, strong commercial awareness, and strategic leadership to deliver a full range of production services across regions.
The Senior Manager serves as the primary LoanIQ functional authority within the production environment and leads a global team of LoanIQ SMEs responsible for functional analysis, issue remediation, best‑practice adoption, and standardized platform usage. The role engages with senior regional leadership, global Operations teams, Technology owners, and Finastra.
Responsibilities include acting as the primary LoanIQ SME for complex loan structures, providing expert guidance on LoanIQ configuration, leading functional governance for LoanIQ releases, conducting impact assessments, driving functional triage, overseeing remediation of product‑related issues, leading and managing a global team of LoanIQ SMEs, defining team priorities, managing resource allocations, ensuring delivery of high‑quality functional support and analysis, mentoring and developing SME talent, ensuring consistent functional standards, documentation, and best practices across all regions, serving as the functional liaison between Operations, Technology, and Vendor partners for all LoanIQ‑related matters, translating production issues into functional enhancements and advising on long‑term product improvements, participating in global steering committees, governance forums, and design sessions for platform or business initiatives, acting as the functional owner in discussions with Finastra regarding defects, enhancements, and product roadmap alignment, prioritizing product fixes and improvements based on risk, client impact, and strategic relevance, collaborating with senior stakeholders to shape global platform strategy, adoption plans, and standardization frameworks, and driving transparency in issue escalation, risk reporting, and remediation tracking.
Qualifications include 15+ years of hands‑on experience with Loan IQ including deep functional expertise across multiple modules, proven experience leading global lending or functional teams, demonstrated ability to partner with Finastra or similar vendors on defects, enhancements, and roadmap discussions, strong understanding of wholesale lending operations, credit structures, and lifecycle processing, senior‑level stakeholder management experience with influence across business and technology functions, excellent communication skills, experience in functional governance, incident analysis, and change management, capacity planning and forecasting experience is a plus, strong ability to plan and organize workload effectively, experience with large‑scale lending transformation or platform migration programs preferred, background in operational controls, data quality, or platform stability, and familiarity with regulatory requirements and financial risk frameworks.
Education: Bachelor's/University degree required, Master's degree preferred.
This role has a global remit and provides leadership for SME teams across multiple regions. Close coordination with senior leaders in Lending Operations, Technology, and Risk is essential.
