Know Your Customer Operations Analyst

Join Citi's KYC Team in Budapest for career progression in an international banking environment. Master regulations and tools in Know Your Customer/Anti-Money Laundering while initiating and maintaining customer data for EMEA countries, ensuring compliance with global policies. This role offers the chance to use English and collaborate with diverse teams.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct client profile reviews for customer accounts
• Review all information and documentation ensuring compliance with local regulation and Citi standards
• Update KYC forms and client profiles according to policy requirements
• Follow up with clients to ensure information is received before due dates
• Perform KYC/AML tasks, including monitoring and tracking of the KYC records and Appendix approval process, assisting with the development and execution of action planning for expiring records, and ensuring records are not past due

Ideal background:

• Fluent English knowledge
• College/University Degree in Law/Public Administration/ Business/Finance/Economics
• Preferably 1+ years of experience in AML and KYC area, but fresh grads are also highly welcome
• Ability to process a high volume of detailed work in a short time frame
• Proficient user of MS programs
• Excellent ability to pay attention to details and work under pressure
• Excellent written communication skills
• Strong problem solving and research skills
• Bulgarian or any other language skill is a great advantage
