The Investor Services business is dedicated to building innovative solutions that redefine security, efficiency, and accessibility in the digital economy. Investor Services Operations comprises of multiple operations groups supporting our Custody (Global and Direct), Funds and Execution Services businesses. This new and exciting space for our clients where our business is looking to lead the way.
Responsibilities:
- Review and validate settlement instructions prepared by makers for accuracy of wallet addresses, transaction hashes, asset quantities, and settlement timelines
- Approve settlement transactions within defined authorization limits, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and security protocols
- Execute high-value, urgent, or complex settlement transactions requiring advanced verification steps
- Monitor blockchain explorers to confirm settlement completion and accuracy of recorded details
- Perform reconciliations between on-chain balances and internal records, escalating unresolved breaks
- Investigate settlement exceptions, failed transactions, or delays, coordinating resolution with relevant teams
- Maintain complete and accurate transaction logs, reports, and audit trails
- Contribute to process improvement by identifying operational gaps and recommending control enhancements
- Assist in training and mentoring junior analysts on settlement procedures and operational best practices
- Support preparation of daily MIS, operational dashboards, and exception reports
- This team operates within a 24/7 shift model to ensure continuous operational coverage
Requirements:
- 5–7 years of experience in settlements and reconciliations (digital asset or securities operations)
- Prior checker or transaction authorization experience preferred
- Exposure to blockchain transaction flows, custody platforms, or on-chain reconciliation tools is advantageous
- Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals and transaction verification methods preferred
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for reconciliation and reporting
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to assess risk in transaction processing
- Strong decision-making and escalation skills
- Good communication and mentoring abilities
- Adaptability to evolving digital asset technologies and processes
