Job Overview

The Cybersecurity Service Delivery Manager is a senior leadership role managing service delivery and strategic portfolio management for Citi's US Personal Bank Cybersecurity organization within the Business, Functions & Technology (BFT) Chief Information Security Office (CISO). This role will deliver high-quality service outcomes as an execution lead supporting the US Personal Bank's Head of Cybersecurity (Cyber). This person serves as a trusted colleague to business and technology teams, partnering with stakeholders across the organization to influence and implement strategic initiatives.

This candidate should bring deep expertise in cybersecurity, strong leadership and communication skills, and a strategic mindset to balance cyber risk management with organizational goals. He or she will act as a key point of contact for cyber-related matters, providing oversight for US Personal Bank Cyber efforts while delivering proactive and positive service to our stakeholders in the business and technology.

Key Responsibilities

Service Delivery Management

  • Serve as advisor and trusted partner to the Head of Cyber for US Personal Bank (USPB).
  • Represent the Head of Cyber in internal and external meetings, ensuring consistent communication and alignment. Support Head of Cyber in meetings by taking notes and assuming responsibility for completion of action items.
  • Manage the cyber portfolio for the USPB business, establishing and maintaining monthly portfolio reviews and tracking.
  • Develop and lead executive presentations, such as updates to senior leaders and "All Hands" calls.
  • Provide support to the Head of Cyber in the development of performance goals, metrics, and reports for CISO leadership teams.
  • Coordinate annual investment planning requests (budget).

Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Provide oversight for the timely completion of projects and initiatives under the Head of Cyber's responsibility.
  • Perform detailed data analysis, understanding trends and providing strategic insights.
  • Thought leadership through identifying opportunities to improve service performance and streamline operations.
  • Support transformation efforts, including organization design, service delivery enhancements and compliance initiatives.
  • Provides input to Head of Cyber to drive efficiency.
  • New project or pilot coordination, as needed, and liaison to project management functions.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business, technology, three lines of defense, and CISO teams across the organization.
  • Serve as the liaison between Head of Cyber and other executives, clients, and stakeholders to ensure consistent communication and ensuring involvement or decision-making at the proper time.
  • Articulate risks and their impact to stakeholders in a clear, actionable manner.
  • Develop executive-level reporting on key topics.
  • Provide regular updates on cyber risk status through meetings, presentations, and reports.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a senior security role involving project management.
  • Strong presentation skills and materials – creating and telling "the story".
  • Understanding of IT security frameworks (e.g. NIST SP-800, PCI, ISO 27001, CRI Profile) and cyber risk.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel - use of pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, macros. PowerPoint - customizing slide design, use of animations, incorporating charts, graphs, and graphics), especially the ability to analyze data and articulate key points with the "so what" to executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to influence and manage change while providing a positive and proactive relationship management service to colleagues and partners, striving for high quality outcomes and smarter ways of working.
  • Proficient in interpreting and applying policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Certification preferred, such as CRISC, CISM, CISA, or CISSP.

  • Extremely strong communication skills (both written and verbal) interacting with senior technology and business management, with strong executive presence.
  • Self-starter who can identify gaps and provide support where needed in a team-focused environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership, follow up on issues, work in a team, and work well under pressure with short timelines.
  • Demonstrates strong critical and strategic thinking, risk analysis and problem-solving skills, providing guidance on the identification, assessment, and mitigation of potential risks.
  • Proven ability to manage and influence in a matrixed environment with cross-functional teams. Exceptional leadership, analytics, and problem-solving skills.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in related security field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
