Join our Engineering Team now and be part of our dynamically growing Citi Technology Team! Within Citi, the Global Infrastructure Defense Security Engineering Team is focusing on designing, developing, testing, and architecting Citi's next generation cyber security solutions across the globe.

In this role, you will be responsible for researching, developing, and certifying security strategies, products, architectures, and best practices. You will also be responsible for defining and influencing key security strategy initiatives and delivering security solutions that will adhere to all enterprise security requirements with a potential to influence industry-wide roadmaps.

As Secure Access Service Edge Engineer you will:

• Architect our future Internet Access design
• Develop performance monitoring dashboards for our Internet Access Infrastructure
• Actively work on global design to achieve Zero Trust principle
• Redesign existing Internet Access Policies
• Influence market leading vendor's roadmap through close relationship
• Write and publish designs, architecture standards, test results, and best practice guides for the global audience
• Call out and identify risk and exposure as it relates to products and architectures from a security and threat perspective
• Proactively participate in enterprise security work groups and teams to come up with innovative ideas and drive them to execution
• Lead and influence a virtual global team, act as a senior subject matter expert for subject security technologies and disciplines

Ideal background:

• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Fluent English
• Strong knowledge of Proxy functionality and Proxy features
• Hands-on experience in Internet Access policy and URL filtering policy creation/implementation/maintenance
• Good understanding of SSL/TLS
• Large Scale Network and Security design experience
• Experience in SASE implementation is a huge plus
• Experience with leading Firewall Vendor products (Traditional Firewall protection, mitigation techniques, IPS/IDS deployments)
• Working knowledge of Network / Routing technology
• Strong Unix / Linux experience
• Scripting (Python/Perl/Bash)
• Experience with large scale monitoring systems
• University / College degree in any STEM area or equivalent industry/technology knowledge

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range: $113,840.00 - $170,760.00
