Job Overview
The Collective Investment Service Senior Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for providing analytic and administrative support to various securities related functions, in coordination with the CIS team. The overall objective of this role is to support clients, maintain position records, and improve process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify, design, and implement process improvements and workflow optimizations to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk across CIS functions
- Continuously assess operational risks, uphold rigorous control standards, and ensure strict compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Serve as a key point of contact, effectively communicating with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve complex issues and provide expert guidance
- Oversee and manage the end-to-end processing of complex securities transactions for collective investments, ensuring adherence to established service standards and regulatory requirements
- Manage the entire trade life cycle, from accurate trade capture and order placement to timely settlement and confirmation, utilizing advanced platforms
- Maintain impeccable records of client holdings and lead comprehensive reconciliation efforts, identifying and resolving discrepancies to ensure data integrity
- Participate in and lead change projects, system enhancements, and strategic initiatives aimed at evolving our CIS offerings and technology landscape
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience in a related role
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience
- Good command of English combined with strong written and verbal communication/negotiation skills
- Resilience to stress and pressure, ability to work against tight deadlines of conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Perseverance in pursuing goals, ability to learn quickly also through hands-on practice
- Risk awareness and work ethics
- Attention to detail and intermediate problem-solving skills
- Readiness to work during public holidays
