If you wish to contribute your skills in various projects, we have the mission for you! We are looking for a Data Engineer Azure & Databricks (H/F). Recognized in the steel industry, located in many cities in France, our client is the largest steel producer in the world, aiming to accelerate its digital transformation to offer more innovative solutions and services.

Description of the Role

Your main tasks will include:

• Configure, structure, and implement the Azure Data Lake and Databricks environment to meet data ingestion and processing needs.
• Create robust ingestion pipelines under Apache NiFi, integrating various industrial sources and respecting performance, memory, and network technical constraints.
• Set up and maintain a Unity Catalog ensuring governance, traceability, and data self-service.
• Ensure the stability of the environment, code quality, processing performance, and completeness of technical documentation.
• Promote the solution to users, write associated documentation, and actively contribute to the sharing of knowledge within the Data team.

Qualifications

You have at least 5 years of experience in Data projects with a Cloud Azure environment.

The expected skills are:

• Advanced manipulation of Azure Data Lake.
• Mastery of Databricks and Apache NiFi.
• Expertise in Python/PySpark/SQL tools.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Git/CI-CD.
• Maintain excellent interpersonal relationships, be autonomous, rigorous, and a force of proposal.
• Understand scientific and industrial concepts to promote the integration of specific models.
