About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to manage and optimize our Oracle Cloud environment. This role involves administration, monitoring, scripting, automation, and process improvement for our integration platform. The ideal candidate has strong experience in Oracle Cloud, Oracle Fusion Middleware administration, log analysis, and automation of operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and optimize the Oracle Fusion Middleware, including installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor and analyze system performance, logs, and create alerts to proactively identify and resolve issues to enhance system reliability.
- Automate operational tasks using scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, or Ansible).
- Enhance monitoring & alerting by integrating modern observability tools (e.g., ELK Stack, Zabbix)
- Ensure platform security & compliance, including access controls, encryption, and patch management.
- Collaborate with development & DevOps teams to improve CI/CD pipelines, deployments.
- Support incident management, root cause analysis, and post-mortem reviews.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve platform scalability, automation, and efficiency.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware Suite administration (12c) and middleware platforms.
- Strong knowledge of WebLogic Server and its components (JMS, DataSources, Clusters).
- Experience with scripting and automation (Bash, Python, Ansible, or Terraform).
- Hands-on experience with log analysis & observability tools (ELK, Zabbix).
- Knowledge of Linux system administration and performance tuning.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes is a plus).
- Familiarity with networking concepts, security best practices, and troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
