Project Coordinator

Are you a creative thinker who can organize and run multiple projects from initial brief to final delivery? Our home office is recruiting a Project Coordinator for the Creative team, reporting to the Senior Creative Manager.

Our team believes design is more than just pretty colors, perfect type, and dynamic videos. It's a way of driving our purpose to help Canadians be inspired to seek Escape at Canada's premier entertainment brands, including Cineplex Cinemas, The Rec Room, Playdium and more.

As our Coordinator, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of new and ongoing creative projects to ensure deliverables are kept on track and completed on time. You love everything about work-back schedules, calendars, proper file naming and liaising between different departments. You always ensure that the creative team members have what they need to thrive, and you continuously update the necessary parties on the status of projects.

This is a hybrid position (3 in-office days weekly), based at our Toronto office located at 1303 Yonge St.

Responsibilities

  • Support Creative senior leaders to deliver small to medium creative projects, from initial creative brief to final delivery. Creative projects range from brand campaigns, social and digital campaigns, food and beverage projects, video projects, targeted emails and more.
  • Intake creative briefs and marketing plans, organize requirements, and build accurate and realistic workback schedules.
  • Organize and hold project kick-off meetings to ensure all creative team members understand the project, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Coordinate Designers, Copywriters, Video teams and Web teams (both internal and freelance) throughout the project lifecycle to ensure deliverables remain on track.
  • Liaise between Project Managers, Creative team members, and internal stakeholders to effectively communicate the project's status.
  • Deliver final creative files to internal stakeholders and archive creative assets after projects are completed.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years' experience in project coordination in a creative agency or in-house creative team capacity.
  • 1+ years of direct project management
  • College or University Marketing or Business degree preferred
  • Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects
  • Working proficiency in Adobe Workfront & Proof HQ is an asset

Detail-oriented and highly motivated

Team player and relationship builder with an open mind and willingness to learn

Strong verbal and written communication skills
