The Senior Manager is responsible for leading a team that manages the RFP and proposal development process for complex and strategic bids. The Senior Manager is also responsible for managing their own RFP projects to completion as team workload requires. You will be responsible for partnering with cross-functional partners throughout the organization to create innovative, winning proposal offers across all business segments and Evernorth capabilities.
In this role, you will be responsible for balancing competing stakeholder priorities, understanding and applying Sales/Account management strategy, and serving as a first point of escalation for issues and questions in the RFP process. Your team will also be responsible for supporting multiple transformative process optimization initiatives across the Bid Strategy & Execution department. The Senior Manager works closely with the Proposal Support Director in managing concurrent bids, departmental projects and their team members' development opportunities.
