Marine Insurance Underwriter

1. Risk Assessment and Analysis:

• Assist senior underwriters in analyzing marine insurance applications, including risks related to vessels, cargo transportation, and associated factors.

• Collect and organize applicants' background information and past claims records, providing preliminary risk analysis reports.

2. Insurance Underwriting Support:

• Assist in drafting insurance terms, premiums, and limits to ensure compliance with company policies and market demands.

• Handle daily underwriting documentation and system data entry, ensuring data accuracy.

3. Client Communication and Service:

• Assist in addressing basic inquiries from clients and insurance brokers, providing professional and friendly service.

• Support senior underwriters in managing client needs and following up on related insurance matters.

4. Market Research and Reporting:

• Support senior underwriters in conducting research on the marine insurance market, gathering trends and competitive information.

• Assist in preparing internal reports and data analysis to support business decisions.

5. Internal Collaboration:

• Collaborate with claims, sales, and other relevant teams to ensure smooth insurance operations.

• Assist senior underwriters in completing cross-departmental projects and tasks.
