The position takes overall responsibility of project management for all aspects (contract, commercial and technical) of the projects assigned. The position works closely with Project Manager to complete and achieve the projects' objectives/ metrics as planned.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Project planning and preparation, Project management in expediting Schedule, completion of field paper work. Liaise with internal parties to ensure that all information and requirements are captured at the project initiation stage
2. Verifies all drawings from design team prior to moving to construction phase.
3. Deals with customer requires related to drawings and requirements.
4. Coordinates with design team, customers and sub-contractors during construction.
5. Checks and inspects the quality of work carried out by workers of subcontractors.
6. Assists and follows the assignments of project manager in ensuring that the projects are implemented on time, safety and in accordance with the customer requirements
7. Be responsible for testing and commissioning all equipment with subcontractors after installation.
8. Be responsible for customer training after project completed.
9. Be responsible for final inspection and collection the data for as built drawings.
10. The position is accountable for implementing assigned responsibilities and activities to attain project goals and objectives.
11. The position is accountable for strictly complying with Chubb's Code of Ethics.
12. The position is accountable for implementing assigned responsibilities and activities to attain EH&S goals and objectives and complying with EH&S policies, applicable rules, procedures, and regulations.
Qualifications & Competencies
The incumbent should possess: -
1- a degree in Engineering is required/preferred.
2- Must have a minimum 3 years of Fire Protection Project Management knowledge, skills, experience in Singapore
3- Knowledge and experience in any kind of engineering management, problem solving, strong systematic and analytical thinking skills, strong knowledge of commercial terms and conditions, working within an ISO 9000 quality environment, strong coaching, influential and negotiation skills.
4- Good English communications and computer competencies.
5- Adaptability, Analytical Thinking, Teamwork, Communications, Listening and Ethics.
6- Experience in LTA projects are preferred.
7- Fire Protection & Fire Alarm Systems experience
