Automotive Customer Service Representative
As an Automotive Customer Service Representative with Christian Brothers Automotive, this role is at the heart of creating exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Desire to learn automotive repair service terminology and processes
- Check guests in and out
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Proactively perform customer call backs to verify satisfaction post-repair, maintain customer satisfaction and build upon existing relationships for repeat business
- Develop into a quick service customer expert, managing repairs for customers scheduling and dropping off oil change appointments
- Work with initiative and problem-solving skills to turn every interaction into an opportunity to exceed expectations
- Providing safe shuttle service for our valued guests in our branded vehicle
- Treating our guests with the utmost respect under all circumstances and with a heart consistent with Christian Brothers Automotive
- Assisting the shop with receiving, processing, incoming and outgoing parts and other errands as needed
- Keep the facility clean and organized
- Assist other team members as needed with clerical tasks such as accounts receivable and filing paperwork
- Direct, coordinate, and participate in performing guest service activities as dictated by workload
- Serve as a community ambassador for the store through creating authentic relationships and partnerships
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Ideal candidate possesses excellent communication and people skills, is driven and motivated, with a go-getter attitude, thriving on challenges and taking pride in achieving goals
- Proven successful hospitality manager, client relations manager and/or customer service representative experience is required; driven to serve others
- Must have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with our staff, vendors, and guest
- Enjoy a fast-paced environment and a team mentality
- Ability to seek and accept coaching and direction
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Valid state driver's license and meet required insurance driving record parameters
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear
- The employee is occasionally required to balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus
- Being dependable for a position that is Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
