The Field Services Support Specialist II is responsible for maintaining daily operations for CHOC Children's end user computing environment. This includes the independent triaging, troubleshooting, and resolution of incidents, fulfillment of hardware/software requests, identifying and documenting problem tickets, creation of Knowledge Articles, and operating as a project resource where applicable. Support Specialists will be responsible for delivering exceptional service through all forms of customer communication, including, in-person, remote, email, phone, text, and chat. Support Specialist 2 will achieve almost all their operational duties with small amounts of oversight. At times, Support Specialists will need to participate in an on-call rotation and participate in after hours or weekend shifts. The Support Specialist II will be expected to support a wide variety of technologies that exist in the client environment and will be expected to maintain strong levels of understanding of these technologies as they progress over time.
