Job Title

Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme ("MRC") for Hong Kong

The Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme is a framework to facilitate Authorized Institutions ("AIs") to bilaterally obtain reference information during their recruitment process for certain positions, such that misconduct information in an individual's previous employments can be provided to AIs to inform their employment decisions.

For information related to MRC Scheme, "Frequently Asked Questions for In Scope Individuals" is published by HKAB/Industry Guidelines or further information will be available upon request, if it is applicable to the position(s) applied.

Country of Location: China Hong Kong

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day corporate action events, settlement and operational support in one or more of the following areas: Hong Kong and Overseas Equities & Bonds etc.
• Maintain manual system bookings for client instructions and securities market information
• Process and track funding and payments related with custodian transactions
• Liaise with relevant parties; manage end-to-end processing procedures and closely work with various internal and external parties such as Finance, Risk, Compliance, legal counsel, IT, system vendor etc.
• Support custody operation system troubleshooting and testing

Requirements:

• Secondary education or above, degree holder is preferable.
• 1 year of relevant work experience with knowledge in securities markets, custody or asset management operation.
• Good knowledge in Hong Kong / Stock Connect securities and local / global bond market, custody, trustee is an advantage.
• Familiar with SWIFT, CCASS, Clearstream, Euroclear, eCMT terminal.
• Good analytical, interpersonal and communications skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
