Job Opportunity In Hong Kong

Manage and supervise the whole cycle post trade settlement functions in various products such as trade instruction processing, cash projection, reconciliation.

Supervise day-to-day corporate action events and operational support in one or more of the following areas: Hong Kong and Overseas Equities & Bonds etc.

Good knowledge of custody operations workflow, settlement procedures and system.

Negotiate with relevant parties; manage end-to-end processing procedures and closely work with various internal and external parties such as Finance, Risk, Compliance, legal counsel, IT, system vendor etc.

In-depth understanding of product parameters, policies, guidelines and regulatory requirement on domestic and global market operations.

Participate in projects, coordinate, manage and resolve problems during different stages from project initiation to its implementation.

Produce documentation on operating procedures and operating guideline.

Undertake process and system enhancements. Optimize workflow so as to enhance operating efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Work with the Head of Operation in review of New Product Proposal from Business Units, including evaluating of system gaps, operation related documentation, coordinating from system testing till implementation with respective stakeholders.

Perform other duties as delegated and assigned by the management.

Support frontline and adhere to anti-money laundering / counter terrorist financing requirement and sanction risks controls in accordance with regulatory standards and CNCBI policies.

Degree holder in Economics or Finance or related disciplines.

Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in settlement / corporate actions with knowledge in securities and bond markets, custody and asset management operation.

Good knowledge in Hong Kong / Stock Connect securities and local / global bond market, custody, trustee is an advantage.

Familiar with SWIFT, CCASS, Clearstream, Euroclear, eCMT terminal.

Good analytical, interpersonal and communications skills.

Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
