About the Position

Chevron ENGINE has an exciting opportunity for an Integrated Operations Center Support Lead (S&T) to join the Operations team. Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, this role will be based in Chevron's office in Bengaluru.

Chevron ENGINE supports global operations, and work hours are aligned to business needs. Standard working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday. These may evolve based on operational or business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The Integrated Operations Center (IOC) Support Lead is part of the Facilities Process Engineering organization within the Chevron ENGINE Center supporting Shale and Tight (S&T) Assets. This role leads a team of Engineers and is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation and optimization of our integrated operations center, driving efficiency and reliability across our Shale and Tight asset portfolio. This role will be critical in coordinating and enhancing data-driven decision-making processes, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to improve operational performance.

  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration and professional development to achieve high performance and innovation.
  • Oversee the integration and functionality of systems and processes within the IOC to ensure optimal asset performance and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven strategies and technologies that enhance real-time monitoring, control, and decision-making processes.
  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of asset performance data, facilitating timely analysis and reporting to support strategic and operational objectives.
  • Drive the continuous improvement of IOC operations, identifying opportunities for process optimization and technology integration.
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety, regulatory compliance, and best practices in all IOC activities and initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing insights and updates on IOC operations, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Participate in hiring and organizational design as required.
  • Support succession planning discussions with leadership teams for the ENGINE process engineering organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in relevant Engineering Discipline
  • Proven experience in integrated operations centers, asset management, or a related field within the oil and gas industry, with a focus on Shale and Tight assets.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing technical teams.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, systems integration, and the application of technology to optimize operational performance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in an operations center or similar role within the oil and gas industry.
  • Familiarity in supporting Operations within Shale and Tight preferred.
  • Experience in mentoring, coaching, and training is desirable.
