The Chevron ENGINE Cloud Engineer - Azure is a key technical engineer accountable for delivery and support of products and services to Chevron workforce. The product team is part of the Cloud Product line within the IT Foundation Digital Platform. This Product line is responsible for digital delivery and support of Cloud products and services to the Chevron Enterprise. The Cloud Engineer - Azure role will work with cutting-edge technology and engage in a wide range of projects and initiatives. These experiences will allow the role owner to gain valuable expertise in areas such as automation, operating systems, Azure networking, security, and resource management. To be a successful a Azure cloud engineer, one should be able to identify the most optimal cloud-based solutions for our digital platforms and maintain cloud infrastructures in accordance with best practices and company security policies. The role owner should understand the nuances of different cloud solutions (hybrid, public, private, multi-cloud, on-prem) and implications for solution design. The Cloud Engineer will apply excellent troubleshooting skills, stay current with industry trends, and must be a team player.
Chevron ENGINE supports global operations, supporting business requirements across the world. Accordingly, the work hours for employees will be aligned to support business requirements. The standard work week will be Monday to Friday. Working hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm or 1:30pm to 10:30pm.
