The Export Sales Rep is a critical role responsible for overseeing and expanding the company's export operations. They will develop and execute strategic plans to identify and penetrate new international markets, build and maintain relationships with overseas clients, and manage logistics and documentation for international shipments. This person will stay updated on trade regulations, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth and efficient export of food products while driving business growth.
What you'll do:
Demonstrated ability to build and generate sales in key international markets
Understanding of exports and international trade
Developing market and industry knowledge
Developing trading networks and connections on an international level
Establishing a process for the movement of goods between Australia and other countries
Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to maximize distribution across the globe
Managing key distributors/wholesalers/key accounts on a global level
Setting targets for the internal market
Understand export compliance requirements
Managing administration such as orders, contracts and export documents
About you:
Business Degree in International Business or similar
Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
An excellent communicator
Persuasive and a good negotiator
Understanding the international trade compliance requirements
Ability to travel overseas as required and represent the group at trade shows and customer meetings
The ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines
