Job Description

Operations personnel provides support to the Warehouse by performing basic office functions such as entering data into the computer system using spreadsheets and data base software to maintain records. Emphasis is placed on clear communications with a diverse work force. Applicant must be able to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks while completing special projects as assigned. Advanced computer and data entry skills are ideal.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (any combination of the following job duties):

• Ability to work a flexible schedule and be able to work overtime and holidays as needed.
• Pallet breakdown on all inbound receiving trucks and product.
• Check quality and quantity on all inbound product.
• Operate PIT in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use a receiving and dock scheduler system to coordinate all inbound receiving trucks.
• Create and edit slots, create and edit product labels
• Help with pallet breakdown and checking quality on inbound receiving trucks.
• Assist in product put away to correct slot locations and slot replenishment as needed.
• Pull, print, and maintain customer orders.
• Create warehouse/production labels as needed.
• Stock Adjustments/Distress Forms; alert appropriate personnel.
• Enter/complete required paperwork for inter-company transfers.
• Enter received product quantities into company's front-end systems.
• Participate in special projects necessary for the departments and/or company.
• Respond to inquiries and refer to the proper manager.
• May provide back up in other areas of the operations and/or administrative departments.
• Maintain regular communications with all necessary departments to ensure operations are functioning satisfactorily.

Qualifications

• Intermediate knowledge of order processing and Excel.
