Sales Coordinator (Internship) — Chapter 2
London, UK (Hybrid — 3 days in office) 3-Month Paid Internship | Potential to convert to Permanent
About Chapter 2
Chapter 2 is one of the fastest-growing embedded talent businesses in the world. We've scaled to 160+ people globally in under four years, partnering with high-growth startups and scale-ups across Europe and the US. We don't do contingency. We don't post CVs. We embed directly into the world's most ambitious companies — acting as their talent function, building their hiring infrastructure, and delivering results at agency speed with the standards of an internal team.
Our commercial growth is fuelled by two things: sharp outbound sales and world-class events that put us in the same room as the people we want to work with. That's where you come in.
We are relentless in our pursuit of excellence, embedding world-class talent, pioneering technology, and compelling employer branding into organizations across industries. Our approach isn't just about recruitment—it's about building long-term success for our clients.
We are loyal to our clients, to our vision, and most importantly, to each other—because we know that true success is built together.
Chapter 2 – A scalable talent solution.
The Opportunity
This is an entry-level internship with real responsibility from day one. You'll sit at the intersection of business development and events — supporting our commercial team with outbound prospecting while helping coordinate Chapter 2's growing events programme. From intimate CPO dinners and TA leader roundtables to our Culture Clinic series, our events are a core part of how we build relationships with the senior talent leaders who become our clients.
This isn't a "make the coffee and take notes" internship. You'll own tasks, contribute to live pipeline, and have the opportunity to shape how Chapter 2 shows up in the market. Perform well over three months and there's a clear path to a permanent role.
What You'll Do
Sales & Pipeline
- Support outbound prospecting — researching target accounts and identifying the right people to reach out to (Heads of Talent, CPOs, Senior Talent Leaders at high-growth startups and scale-ups)
- Draft and send personalised outreach via LinkedIn and email, following up consistently to book discovery calls for the senior commercial team
- Help maintain and update the CRM with accurate activity, contact, and pipeline data
- Use AI tools to support research, outreach personalisation, and sequencing — we'll train you on these
Events Coordination
- Support the coordination of Chapter 2's events — including CPO and TA leader dinners, roundtables, and our Culture Clinic series
- Help manage guest lists, invitations, venue logistics, and supplier communication
- Assist with post-event follow-up, ensuring warm contacts are fed back into the sales pipeline
- Support promotion of events across LinkedIn and email alongside the marketing team
Who We're Looking For
We're not hiring based on experience — we're hiring based on potential. If you're curious, driven, and genuinely excited about sales and events, we want to hear from you.
- Recent graduate or early in your career, any degree discipline welcome
- A strong communicator: you write clearly, confidently, and know how to engage people
- Highly organised: you can juggle multiple tasks without losing attention to detail
- Commercially curious: you want to understand how businesses grow, not just complete tasks
- Proactive and high energy: you spot what needs doing and get on with it
- Comfortable with technology and keen to learn new tools quickly
- An interest in the startup and talent space is a bonus, but not essential
The Internship Structure
- Duration: 3 months, paid
- Location: London — hybrid, 3 days per week in the office
- Hours: Full time
- Conversion: Strong performers will be offered a permanent role at the end of the internship. We'll be transparent with you throughout about how you're tracking against that goal — no nasty surprises
