Human Resource Generalist - Retail Division

Location: Flowood, MS

FLSA Status: Exempt

The HR Generalist – Retail Division provides essential support to both retail field locations and the corporate HR office, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth day-to-day HR operations. This role maintains employee records, manages HRIS and SharePoint data, and prepares and routes HR forms accordingly for this high-volume retailer.

Serving as a communication bridge between retail staff and corporate leadership, the HR Generalist responds to audit requests, organizes personnel files, and ensures documentation is complete and consistent. The position also supports onboarding and offboarding processes, assists with reporting and audits, and provides scheduling and administrative support to the HR Manager.

With strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to confidentiality, the HR Generalist contributes to a well-functioning HR team that enables retail leadership to focus on driving business growth.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in Business, HR, or a related field preferred
• 3+ years of administrative, HR, or office support experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook)
• Experience using SharePoint and Adobe Sign is strongly preferred
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and confidentiality is a must
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple requests and prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment
