Must-Have Technical/Functional Skills
- 6+ years of overall QA/testing experience, with 3+ years focused on MuleSoft integrations and APIs.
- Strong knowledge of API testing using REST and SOAP standards.
- Proficiency with tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar API testing platforms.
- Familiarity with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API Manager, Connectors, and related components.
- Hands-on experience validating JSON, XML, and flat-file payloads as part of end-to-end integration pipelines.
- Ability to design, execute, and automate test scripts for Mule flows, including both functional and regression testing.
- Experience testing integrations with systems like Salesforce, databases, and ERP solutions.
- Understanding of authentication methods (OAuth, SAML) and security testing for APIs.
- Comfort with version control tools (GitHub) and CI/CD processes.
- Knowledge of cloud environments (Azure, AWS) and CloudHub is a plus.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed test cases for MuleSoft APIs, integrations, and workflows.
- Validate data transformations, message routing, and system integrations for accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with developers to review Mule flow designs, identify test scenarios, and ensure testability.
- Automate API and integration testing using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Analyze logs, monitor test execution, and report clear, actionable findings.
- Contribute to overall QA strategy, championing best practices for API and integration quality.
- Support performance, security, and end-to-end testing as needed.
