YOUR ROLE

As a Maintenance Engineer, you are responsible for the optimal functioning of the machinery within our warehouse. This includes packaging and sorting machines, conveyors, and various technical installations. You ensure that these machines perform reliably and deliver their promised performance. When this is not the case, you know exactly what needs to be done to restore it. You are part of an enthusiastic and diverse team within the Maintenance department, working in a two-shift service. Together, you are responsible for carrying out and administratively handling all maintenance activities. You stay continuously informed about new developments in the market and advise stakeholders on possible improvements and optimizations.

You report to the Manager Maintenance from your location in Waalwijk, but you are also flexible for deployment at other locations.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Analyze and monitor the performance of machines and processes;
• Guide and advise on various technical aspects, machines, and maintenance activities;
• Initiate and realize projects/renewal activities for existing and new installations;
• Function as a team player and constructively think critically in the team;
• Follow in and external market and technological developments in the field.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• You have a completed MBO4 or HBO education in a technical direction;
• You have experience in a similar position within a dynamic environment;
• You are a team player, a committed doer, who can work independently but also likes to work in a team;
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.
