We're looking for a Senior Java Engineer with a passion for AI innovation to lead the development of next-generation AI agent systems. In this role, you'll combine deep Java expertise with a forward-thinking approach to AI-assisted development, guiding a team of engineers and AI tools to build scalable, intelligent solutions that drive real business impact.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the design and development of Java-based AI agent systems using modern frameworks and best practices.
• Collaborate with both human developers and AI coding assistants to accelerate development workflows.
• Bridge traditional software engineering with emerging AI technologies to create context-aware, collaborative development tools.
• Drive architectural decisions, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Mentor team members and establish best practices for human-AI collaboration in software development.
• Stay ahead of trends in AI/ML and Java ecosystems to continuously evolve our engineering capabilities.

Who You Are:

• 8+ years of Java development experience, including Spring Boot, Jakarta EE, and Java 11+.
• Strong background in software architecture, microservices, and API design.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, CodeWhisperer) and a critical eye for their strengths and limitations.
• Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts, especially large language models and AI agents.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud deployments.
• Expertise in systems integration and building composable, API-driven services.
• A strong testing philosophy, including unit, integration, and system-level testing.
