Operations Director Of Diagnostic Services
The Operations Director Of Diagnostic Services will lead and manage the operational execution and strategic growth of the autism diagnostic service line within our ABA organization. This individual will oversee day-to-day operations, scale the business to a $10M+ revenue line, and work in close collaboration with the Clinical Leader (Licensed Psychologist) to ensure delivery of high-quality diagnostic services. The Director will be responsible for service line financial performance, staff recruitment and onboarding, process optimization, and fostering a culture of clinical and operational excellence.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of the autism diagnostic service line, ensuring efficiency and quality of services delivered.
- Partner with the Clinical Leader to align clinical quality with operational execution.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the diagnostic business, including market expansion, new services, and capacity building.
- Collaborate on the recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies for licensed psychologists.
- Design, implement, and refine workflows, tools, and technologies that enhance service delivery.
- Monitor service line performance using KPIs and dashboards; proactively address any operational gaps.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, payor requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Craft and implement an effective AI operational strategy, including defining processes, optimizing workflows, and establishing governance frameworks to ensure successful and responsible AI deployment. This role requires a blend of strategic foresight and hands-on execution to translate high-level vision into actionable plans.
- Compliance with Centria's Code of Conduct, policies and procedures, and Federal and State laws.
- Responsibility to report violations of Company policies or the Code of Conduct.
This role is responsible for leading and maintaining team members by interviewing, selecting, orienting, and training them. The Director will also ensure the daily functions of the department are completed by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. Other responsibilities include:
- Managing, coaching, and developing a high-performing team to meet objectives, deliver best-practice results, and drive continuous improvements.
- Directly supervising diagnostic operations staff, including scheduling, performance management, and professional development.
- Collaborating with HR and Clinical Leader to support Psychologist performance and professional engagement.
- Serving as a key member of the leadership team for strategic decision-making.
- Maintaining regular contact with team members regarding performance, setting expectations, and coaching on policies and procedures related to their responsibilities.
- Assigning and managing team members' caseload and work assignments.
- Evaluating team member performance and initiating disciplinary measures up to and including termination.
- Approving Paid Time Off and Leave of Absence requests for the Diagnostic Operations team members.
- Promoting high standards through personal example so that each team member understands the expected standards and behaviors.
- Full Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibility for the diagnostic service line.
- Monitor and manage operational budgets, cost efficiency, and profitability targets.
- Forecast revenue and expenses in alignment with growth goals.
- Optimize resource allocation and clinical capacity planning to maximize financial outcomes.
- Develop pricing and reimbursement strategies in partnership with finance and billing teams.

Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree required in Healthcare Administration, Business, Psychology, or related field.
Work Experience
- 2-5 years of experience in operations management or sales, prior management of a team required
- Prior P&L experience preferred

- Working knowledge of laptop/desktop PC
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel)
- Proficiency in G Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Google Meet)

Working Conditions
- Centria's office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM.
- Additional time or occasional shift in schedule may be required to complete the above work or meet company objectives.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, physical requirements such as bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 30 pounds may be required. This role will require sitting most of the day as well as walking and standing periodically. This role may require close visual acuity on computer screens or monitors and the ability to analyze data and figures on a screen.
