Surgical Services Manager

This opportunity at Rice Memorial Hospital is responsible for both the Surgery Center and Surgical Services in the hospital.

Provides leadership, coordination, direction and development of teams and/or programs for services of responsibility.

Is responsible for cross-functional leadership of programs and services necessary to meet patient care needs.

This position role models and supports an environment conducive to positive and collaborative relationships with all internal and external customers.

Is responsible for the retention and development of qualified staff while enhancing communication and feedback throughout the department.

Responsible for age-appropriate care for patients and families.

Supports, implements patient safety, and other safety practices as appropriate.

Maintains professional competencies by attending educational programs, participates in professional organizations, subscribing to the reading professional journals or other appropriate activities.

Schedule:

Fulltime, salaried position working 80 hours per two weeks.

Primarily Monday-Friday daytime hours with off-hour coverage also.

Pay and Benefits:

Starting salary begins at $102,083 annually.

Full pay range $102,083 to $153,125.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in nursing required.

Master's Degree preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in perioperative services required.

Clinical management experience preferred.

Experience in facilitating reviews conducted by local, state and national regulatory agencies preferred.

Registered Nurse (RN) Current licensure to practice in the State of Minnesota required.

Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Possesses verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, patients/families, and community resources.
