We are looking for a Data Engineer for a project in Stockholm.
This is a consultancy project.
The project is full-time.
The project involves close cooperation with the client, which requires great flexibility and collaboration skills.
The project provider is Stockholm's energy company. They ensure the growing Stockholm region's access to heat, cooling, electricity, and waste management services 24/7. Today, more than 800,000 Stockholm residents and over 400 hospitals, data centers, and other facilities are connected to the district heating network, linked to heat and power plants from Högdalen in the south to Brista in the north. Together, they drive Stockholm forward with the potential to become the world's first climate-positive capital.
In the IT department of the project provider, they are building solutions that align with the company's overarching goal of delivering the most effective and sustainable energy solutions for an attractive and climate-positive Stockholm region. The Data & Analytics area is central to providing the tools needed for well-founded decision-making and efficient energy system operation.
Now, they are looking for more colleagues in Data & Analytics to develop applications for data management and processing.
The project aims to expand the data in the current platform built on Azure using Databricks. In the long run, a Data Science environment will also be established, and all necessary analysis will be carried out there.
Requirements (Mandatory)
Knowledge in Azure infrastructure for data platforms
Knowledge/Experience in development in Python
Experience in setting up cloud infrastructure for data teams
Experience in Data Engineering and data modeling
Experience in Python
Experience in implementing Databricks
Experience in automated release processes and DevOps
Experience in developing agile development in practice
Merit
Power BI or another visualization tool
