CENTERS Management Position

CENTERS, LLC is a professional management firm specializing in facility, operation, and program management for higher education. CENTERS' management approach is customized for each client yet retains our uniform quality. Our firm unites site staff with a centralized administrative team, each contributing to the firm's goals and client needs. The CENTERS team is innovative, entrepreneurial, trail-blazing, and ambitious for both CENTERS and our clients. Today, CENTERS provides management services for 14 clients.

Responsibilities

  • Greet all members and guests who enter the facility
  • Ensure the proper identification is being used to access the facility
  • Enter student information in our system (email, phone, birthday, etc)
  • Take pictures and have each new student/member sign a waiver to access the facility
  • File all waivers at the end of the shift
  • Relay all messages to members if there is a pop-up for them
  • Document any blackboard red lights on the red light list
  • Answer any questions that members may have about our facility, memberships and programs
  • Answer phones
  • Troubleshoot any issues or problems that may occur during your shift
  • Get correct and valid contact information from our patrons
  • Assist with selling of guest passes and fitness passes
  • Knowledge of all of our programs and memberships
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
  • Assist with daily projects that the staff may assign
  • Provide the best customer service possible to all patrons and employees
  • Ensure cleanliness of the front lobby, interlink and main customer service desk
  • Make copies of appropriate forms needed at the customer service desk
  • Answer phones and take descriptive messages for professional staff members
  • Give outstanding tours and have knowledge of our facility
  • Represent the Department of Campus Recreation Services in a positive light at all times

Qualifications

  • Must be actively seeking a degree at the university
  • Basic knowledge of computer skills
  • Ability and willingness to enforce policies and handle conflict resolution
  • Customer service experience
  • Able to be flexible and work mornings and some weekends

  • Moderate to loud noise

  • Standing or walking
  • Repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement (while operating computer equipment)
  • Occasional bending, stooping
  • Eye-hand coordination (keyboard typing)
  • Hearing and talking
