Coordinator, Operations

Reporting to the Senior Coordinator, the Coordinator, Operations is responsible for the safe and efficient performance of the asset's production goals. This role will identify potential risks in conflicting schedules, Health & Safety, adherence to policy commitments and Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS) by performing regular audits and inspections. As Coordinator, this role will also support the Senior Supervisor and Senior Field Manager with development of annual OPEX budgets.

This position is located in Edson and requires the successful candidate to live in the area.

What you'll do:

• Work within budgetary and financial objectives and follow established procedures to manage resources effectively.
• Provide guidance on troubleshooting assets to meet deliverables and support the resolution of process upsets.
• Identify resources and operational challenges to address potential obstacles and optimize workflows.
• Identify and resolve problems within established policy frameworks, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
• Enhance current practices and processes by seeking opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Ensure the implementation and development of work while monitoring safety and ensuring compliance with COIMS.

Who you are:

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:

• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant industry experience.
• 4th Class Steam Ticket or higher preferred.
• Experience in sour facilities environments.

As this position has been identified as safety sensitive, employment of a final candidate selected for this position will be conditional upon successful completion of required pre-employment medical and alcohol/drug assessments.

For this position you will be required to maintain a Class 5 driver’s license, a satisfactory driving record, and adhere to the appropriate Company policies and guidelines. A driver’s abstract will be one of the background checks requested in the pre-employment screening for the final candidate.
