Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
  • Prospect Management: Manage and develop an existing portfolio of leads to ensure engagement and progression through the sales funnel.
  • Sales Environment: Operate effectively in a fast-paced sales environment, utilizing phone calls and emails to connect with potential customers.
  • Research and Identification: Conduct thorough research on accounts, identify key decision-makers, and generate interest in our products and services.
  • Database Maintenance: Maintain and expand our database of prospects within the assigned territory, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • CRM Management: Manage accounts, prospects, calls, and activities in Salesforce.com to track progress and performance.
  • Lead Routing: Route qualified opportunities to sales executives for further development and closure when appropriate.
  • Competitive Awareness: Stay informed about competing products and services to effectively position our offerings.
  • Sales Closure: Assist in closing sales and achieving sales targets through effective lead qualification and follow-up.
  • Process Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements in the sales administration process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Language Skills: Advanced proficiency in English.
  • Communication Skills: Strong listening and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with potential customers.
  • Phone Presence: Comfortable making numerous calls per day and effectively engaging with prospects.
  • Discipline and Time Management: Exceptional time management skills and the ability to work independently.
  • CRM Experience: Experience working with a CRM system, preferably Salesforce.com.
  • Presentation Skills: Professional and confident presentation skills to effectively convey value propositions.
  • Sales Experience: Proven work experience in a sales or lead generation role, preferably as an SDR.
  • Target Achievement: Demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Educational Background: A higher education degree is preferred, particularly in International Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
