Customer Service Representative

This role is in support of Cencora's global logistics and storage services marketed through our World Courier Business.

We are hiring a Customer Service Representative to join our Customer Service team in Edinburgh.

Salary: £26,000-£28,000pa

Hours: 40 per week

Days: Monday - Friday

Shifts: 8 hrs per day between the times of 7am – 9.30pm rotational shifts

Location: Edinburgh Office/Hybrid

This role will have a initial 6-month probation, during this time it will be mostly office based, thereafter post probation Hybrid working of 3 days office and 2 from home, and an increase in salary.

The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills who is able to work constructively with colleagues in other departments and countries across World Courier's network.

The role of the Customer Service Representative is to be the primary contact for clients when booking shipments and providing general and specific information from initial enquiry through quoting, order placement and tracking shipments.

The role involves ensuring the shipment will run as smoothly as possible through detailed pre-planning and monitoring execution.

In addition, the Customer Service Representative is required to operate as the executive element of World Courier's Operational teams, collating relevant information and issuing instructions to the various departments involved in any given process.
