Project Objective: Collaborate in the preparation of samples for operational services provided by the Global laboratory, and participate in the development of innovation projects.
Challenges for the Student: Adapt to a fast-paced work dynamic, requiring quick learning and timely execution of tests. Manage multiple projects or responsibilities simultaneously. Integrate into the work team, attend daily activity scheduling meetings. Perform in a cement laboratory environment (manual operation, standing for several hours). Office work for preparing reports and presentations.
Main Responsibilities and Activities: Conduct laboratory tests: sample preparation, crushing and pulverizing, grinding, chemical and physical analysis, material characterization. Support administrative laboratory activities such as inventory, labeling, sample registration, sample transportation. Collaborate with the maintenance, calibration, and equipment verification plan. Possibly participate in research on technological trends through information search tools, databases, etc., and in the preparation of publications and technology monitoring reports.
