Soft Services Lead

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is looking for a driven Soft Service Lead to manage the daily operations of our soft services for a new major account in the Netherlands. This account includes locations in Amsterdam, The Hague, and Assen.

Your role:

As Soft Service Lead, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional employee experience by effectively managing and optimizing all soft services at our locations. You will be the central figure, the connecting factor, and the driving force behind an efficient and welcoming work environment.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of soft service employees (reception, catering, facility services, etc.) and coaching them in their daily activities.
  • Being responsible for the daily operational execution of the soft services, including monitoring quality, resolving issues, and optimizing processes.
  • Acting as the point of contact for the client and serving as a liaison between the client, the soft service team, and other stakeholders.
  • Continuously improving the employee experience by implementing innovative solutions and proactively addressing the needs of the employees.
  • Managing the budget for the soft services and ensuring efficient cost control.
  • Ensuring the quality of service delivery by conducting audits, monitoring KPIs, and implementing improvements.
  • Reporting to the Account Manager and sharing relevant information and results.

What you bring to the table:

  • Higher education work and thinking level.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a managerial role within facility services or hospitality.
  • Experience in managing various soft services.
  • Excellent communication skills (Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing).
  • Strong leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Customer orientation and a proactive attitude.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Affinity for technological solutions and innovation.
  • Willingness to travel between locations (Amsterdam, The Hague, and Assen).

What we offer you:

  • Salary up to €95,000 gross per year, depending on knowledge and experience;
  • Laptop and phone;

  • 8.33% vacation pay, 25 vacation days (based on full-time employment), up to 10 vacation days purchasable and a health bonus after 1 year of no sickness;
