People Services Senior Specialist

About the Role:

The purpose of this role is to proactively deliver an exceptional People administration service to the UK & Ireland business; supporting the wider People team, employees, and line managers.

What You'll Do:

Be the point of contact for advanced or complex People queries, managing the enquiry from contact through to closure, including inbound Payroll queries via email or SNOW. Partner with Account Manager for in-depth explanation and cases as needed, acting as Account Manager backup if needed. Providing accurate and timely information to employees and managers regarding People policies, People systems, and People programs; Ensuring service is delivered in a controlled way by logging & tracking all queries & transactions in the case management system, ensuring the employee and/or line manager is provided with regular status updates; Be familiar with service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure requests are responded to within the agreed SLA; Escalating queries to Account Managers, Centres of Expertise, and People Business Partners, in line with the agreed escalation matrix. Providing Support for critical activities and other People Projects, such as Annual Salary Review, Bonus processes or semi-annual promotion processes. Participation in various Payroll / People Projects as required. Actively supporting management in the identification and implementation of continuous service improvement initiatives.

What You'll Need:

Degree educated preferred; CIPD qualification or working towards it is desirable. Previous experience working with a Core HR System, preferably Peoplesoft. Previous experience in a Shared Services environment, using a case management tool.

Skills:

Exceptional customer service skills with a professional telephone manner. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisation and prioritisation skills. Proven ability to multitask. Strong interpersonal skills. Proficiency in PC/database skills, including Microsoft Office.
