Laboratory Support Associate

Are you detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about supporting scientific innovation? As a CBRE LIS Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring laboratory equipment is always ready, reliable, and compliant. You'll support the repair, maintenance, and calibration of lab instruments—helping scientists focus on what they do best: breakthrough research.

This position is part of our Critical and Technical Services team, which delivers essential technical support in high-stakes environments where precision and uptime are everything.

What You'll Be Doing

In this hands-on role, you'll be the go-to person for lab equipment readiness and compliance. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating with lab staff to plan installations, maintenance, and equipment relocations.
  • Reviewing GxP pipette or similar instrument certificates and test records from third-party service providers to ensure compliance.
  • Preparing and setting up lab equipment each day so scientists can hit the ground running.
  • Replenishing solvents and ensuring all tools are in working order and available when needed.

You'll also:

  • Collect and organize documentation for audits and inspections.
  • Support training efforts and serve as a backup for reviewing compliance documentation.
  • Follow standardized procedures while solving routine problems with a practical, hands-on approach.
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality service under moderate supervision.

What You'll Need to Succeed

We're looking for someone who is organized, curious, and eager to learn. You'll thrive in this role if you bring:

  • A high school diploma or GED, with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • A strong sense of responsibility and the ability to follow established routines and standards.
  • Clear communication skills to exchange straightforward information with colleagues and service providers.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Basic math skills for simple calculations (percentages, markups, etc.).
  • A proactive mindset and strong organizational skills.

Why Join CBRE?

At CBRE, you'll be part of a global leader in real estate and facilities services, working in a dynamic, high-tech environment that values precision, safety, and continuous improvement. You'll have the opportunity to grow your skills, contribute to meaningful work, and be part of a team that supports some of the world's most innovative companies.
